1. Why isn’t every imprint option available for every material?
Each cover material has its own texture, density, and surface finish. Some imprint techniques require compression or adhesion that certain materials can’t support without compromising clarity or durability.
2. What happens if I select an imprint that isn’t compatible with my material?
If an incompatible combination is selected, we’ll contact you to recommend the closest alternative. This may slightly extend production time, so reviewing the compatibility guide beforehand helps keep your order on schedule.
3. Why is blind deboss not recommended on Natural Linen?
Natural Linen is thicker and denser than most fabrics, which can soften the impression of a blind deboss and reduce definition.
4. If my material isn’t listed in the compatibility chart, is it safe to use any imprint?
Yes. Materials not listed in the chart have no special imprint restrictions and work well with standard imprint options.
5.Can I still achieve a foil look if my material has foil restrictions?
In many cases, yes. When traditional foil deboss isn’t suitable, we may recommend digital foil or an alternative finish that complements your chosen material.
